Tutorial: Running Reports
PointScribe's powerful data capture and analysis feature allows you to run a variety of reports at any time to assess student progress, and, drive informed, targeted intervention.

To run reports:

  • (A) Select the blue Run Reports button on the red Control Panel.

  • (B) Select the focus for your report: an entire Classroom/Group or a single Student.

  • (C) On the right side of the screen, select the Report Type you would like to run. There are 4 choices; only those that match your choice (group vs individual) will be available for selection. Click on the name of each below to see a sample.

  • (D) If applicable, choose Shape Library / Shape Type for your report.

  • (E) If applicable, choose date range for your report.

  • (F) Select the Generate Report button at bottom of screen. A report will appear.
  • (G) You can sort the data (if applicable) using the Library and Proficiency buttons on lower left of screen.
    • In the case of classroom reports, you can drill down to view specific data for each student and shape. Details are noted on individual report sample pages (links above).

  • (H) At the lower right, a Print button allows you to send the file a printer, or create a PDF for electronic record keeping or email.
