PointScribe's AutoCorrection feature helps students who face challenges with fine motor skills succeed when learning to handwrite.
When AutoCorrection is enabled, the student receives an alert sound and is brought back to the beginning of a stroke each time he writes outside of the letter shape.
When AutoCorrection is disabled, the student may write freely on the screen without interruption. This allows children who face motor skill challenges such as cerebral palsy the opportunity to succeed at forming a letter without frustration. As shape knowledge, pen control, and confidence increase, you can then choose to enable Auto Correction.
To enable/disable Auto Correction
(A) Select the Enable Auto Correction toggle button in the Tutor Options area of the Lesson Editor screen on lower left.
